kageno worldwide

branding - content - website

Founded in 2003, Kageno is non-profit operating in Kenya and Rwanda. Their mission is to transform communities in need into places of hope and opportunity. They’ve impacted thousands of lives by breaking cycles of poverty, allowing healthier, more sustainable communities to emerge. Kageno provides the infrastructure, resources, and knowledge needed to develop education initiatives, stronger infrastructures for community health, diversified economies, and a healthier environment.

Kageno came to 37SX wanting a new website, comprehensive content strategy, copywriting and branding. Priority number one was to create a clear, cohesive narrative so people could easily understand the complex work Kageno does and whom they support. Pairing this with a clean UX design, infographics and many calls to action to donate to their incredible cause.

Frank C. Andolino D.D.S

Kageno Co-Founder and Executive Director

“Since establishing Kageno in 2003, we have struggled to succinctly convey our mission of transforming communities suffering from crushing poverty into places of hope and opportunity. The difficulty stems from our multifaceted, four-pillar approach used to address each community's diversified needs.

Hiring 37 Essex to help redefine Kageno's messaging exceeded our expectations. Samantha was attentive and took the time to truly understand the work we've been doing for nearly two decades in Kenya and Rwanda and translated it into a clear, concise website defining all we do and connecting more people with our mission.

Our website, branding, and annual reports are polished and represent our organization in a way in which we always imagined, but struggled to achieve.

Samantha is creative, responsive, and she and her team have continued to provide assistance and instruction after the release, whenever we need it. She is the ultimate professional and I would recommend her and her team without hesitation.”
